That just can’t be healthy.

You know what that is? It’s a deep fried, peanut butter brownie wrapped in cookie dough. Looks good doesn’t it? I googled this to try and find a restaurant in Geneva that would sell these things so I could bring everyone at Club56 one on Wednesday, but unfortunately, the closest place that sells them is in New York City. Bummer.

I don’t think I would have anyone say that eating three of these things a day would be a healthy choice. There is virtually NO health benefits to eating one of these things, except for MAYBE the peanut butter. I think though there are some things in our lives that are really unhealthy for our relationship with Jesus. I think about things that drain our brains like too much TV, internet, or video games. Or I think about things that damage relationships with others like gossip, disrespecting others, and lying to our parents as things that are UNHEALTHY with our relationship with Jesus.

Perhaps being physically healthy isn’t the first thing on your mind each day. But I would challenge you to think about what is healthy for your relationship with Jesus and make it a point to do those things. There is nothing more important in this life than a healthy and growing relationship with Jesus.
