Cars have a purpose. They are designed to drive. They are designed that way to fulfill a greater need in the world, mainly that we need to get from place to place. We need to get to school, work, etc.

We have a purpose too. At Club56 on Wednesday, we talked about how just like cars we have a purpose to love God and others. However, just like cars, sometimes we break down. This is why God is like an auto mechanic. He fixes and restores us so that we can better fulfill our design of loving God and others.

Cars will eventually get to a place when they are not able to be fixed and they just have to be junked. Fortunately for us, that will never happen as God fixes and restores us. He is always able to restore us and will never junk us.
