Below is a thank you note that TREK received from our friends at Elias Fund after making hundreds (or more) and selling some bracelets at TREK Elect.

On behalf of Elias, Elias Fund, and everyone who will benefit from your efforts last Sunday I want to say Thank you. Trek raised $155! At $2.90 a student per day that’s enough money to support 53 kids for a day and 2 kids for one month. Please let your students know how grateful we are and continue to encourage them to make giving part of their lifestyle. Please especially thank the students who came early to learn how to make the bracelets.

Great job and yet our work is not done. Although it is extremely helpful to make all the bracelets that we were able to put together on Sunday morning, the greater need it to sell as many as possible. As a reminder, every bracelet that we sell for $5 helps two Zimbabwean refugee child receive education, supplies and 3 meals for a day. We have already helped 2 students for a month. We will be selling the bracelets for the entire month of March in TREK. Thank you for being a part of making a difference in the lives of these children.
